A sofa takes the same daily use as a carpet, in a smaller space and closer to you. Skin, hair, body oils, crumbs and pet dander work into the fabric, and because it happens gradually most people never notice how much the colour has dulled until a cleaned piece is sitting next to an uncleaned one.

Fabric is checked before we start so the right method is used. Delicates are cleaned more gently, and if a piece is not suitable for cleaning we will say so rather than risk it.
Fabric protector is available once the piece is completely dry. It helps spills sit on the surface for a moment instead of soaking straight in, which buys you time to blot them up. It costs half the price of the clean itself, so ask for it when you book and it will be quoted with the job.
Shane does the work himself, so the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it. He explains what he is going to do before he starts, and cleans up after himself when he is finished.

Yes. Fabric protector costs half the price of the clean itself. It goes on after the clean, but only once the fabric is completely dry, so we will arrange the timing with you. Ask when you book and it will be included in your quote.
Odours usually sit in the dirt and body oils held in the fabric, so taking those out is what deals with the smell. Heavy pet or smoke odours are harder, and we will be honest about what we expect to achieve before we start.
Most marks lift. But results depend on the age and condition of the fabric, and some stains, dyes and worn patches cannot be fully removed. We will tell you what to expect rather than promise something we cannot do.
