Professional Carpet Cleaning in Southport and Merseyside

Carpets cleaned properly by hot water extraction, lifting out the dirt, grit and allergens a vacuum leaves behind. Where you need a room back in use quickly, there is a low-moisture rotary clean that can be dry in as little as 30 minutes.

Carpet cleaning that reaches what a vacuum cannot

A vacuum takes the surface dirt. What stays behind is the grit that works its way down to the base of the pile, along with the everyday build-up of skin, hair, pet dander and dust mite debris that makes a carpet look flat and tired long before it is worn out.

Every clean starts with a thorough vacuum using a powerful twin-motor, professional-grade machine, far stronger than a domestic vacuum, which pulls out the dry grit and hair first. Then hot water extraction deals with what is left. Cleaning solution is worked into the pile, then hot water with a neutralising solution is injected and drawn straight back out, taking the loosened dirt with it and leaving no sticky residue behind. It is the method the NCCA trains on, and it is what we use on most jobs.

When you need the room back quickly

Not every job suits a wet clean. Where a room has to be usable the same day — a rental changeover, an office, a house going on the market — we use a low-moisture rotary clean instead. Carpets cleaned this way can be dry in as little as 30 minutes, and for carpets that are more tired than dirty it gets excellent results. After a full hot water extraction clean, carpets can be dry in as little as a few hours, depending on the level of soiling.

We will tell you which one suits your job when we quote it.

What customers say
“I had my hall, stairs and landing cleaned and from start to finish was so happy with the service. I had 2 cats who were up and down the stairs and slept at the top of the stairs lots so was marked from this. They looked like new carpets when finished and dried really quickly too. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Shane who cleaned them was very friendly and cleaned everywhere after this too.”

Common questions
How does the cleaning actually work?

First the carpet is vacuumed with a powerful twin-motor, professional-grade machine, which lifts out the dry grit and hair a domestic vacuum leaves behind. Then we use hot water extraction. Cleaning solution is worked into the pile, then hot water with a neutralising solution is injected and pulled straight back out again with the dirt in it, rather than the dirt being moved around the carpet. Where a room is needed back in use quickly, we can use a low-moisture rotary clean instead, which dries far faster.

How long will my carpet take to dry?

With a low-moisture clean, carpets can be dry in as little as 30 minutes. After a full hot water extraction clean, carpets can be dry in as little as a few hours, depending on the level of soiling. We will tell you what to expect for your carpets before we start.

Do you move the furniture?

If furniture needs moving, please let us know in advance so assistance can be arranged. Otherwise we clean around what is in the room, and we will always tell you what we can and cannot shift on the day.

Is it safe for pets and children?

Yes. The products we use are safe around pets and children, and everything is rinsed out of the carpet as we go.

Will every stain come out?

Most marks lift, and plenty of carpets people had written off come up like new. But results depend on the age and condition of the carpet, and some stains, dyes and worn areas cannot be fully removed. We will tell you honestly what to expect before we start rather than promise something we cannot do.

What does it cost?

Carpet cleaning starts at £90. The final price depends on how many rooms, the type of carpet and its condition. Quotes are free, with no hidden extras.

Who will be doing the work?

Shane. The person who quotes your job is the person who turns up and does it, and he explains what he is going to do before he starts.

Which areas do you cover?

Southport and the surrounding towns of Merseyside and West Lancashire, including Birkdale, Ainsdale, Formby, Ormskirk, Burscough, Crosby, Maghull and Eccleston.
